We have for your consideration one of the original, 12″ Madame Alexander,
“Jo”
dolls from the
“Little Women Collection”
depicting characters from the Louisa May Alcott novel.  As with all Madame Alexander dolls, no detail went unnoticed.  Her brown hair is in a beautiful, semi up sweep with an intricate design on the top of her head and a red bow in the back. She has blue/grey, sleepy eyes that are in working condition, with rooted eyelashes, red cheeks and orange/red lips.  She is wearing a white dress with tiny black polka dots, puffed sleeves and a red apron trimmed with red, rick rack.  There is a black bow at the front of her neckline.  She has her white half slip with hoop petticoat, pantaloons, socks and black velveteen shoes and she stands on her original heart, shaped stand.  She has on her hand tag.  The doll has been stored behind glass in a curio, and is just as crisp and clean as she appears.  She will make a wonderful addition to any vintage Little Women collection.  We also will be listing the Amy doll, and are happy to combine shipping whenever possible.
