Description
Dia-Compe has re-released their popular hinged MX seat clamp from the early 1980’s. These are BRAND NEW – they are not NOS.
Color: BLACK ANODIZED
Size: 25.4mm (1″) inner diameter (fits most frames that take a 22.2mm (7/8″) seat post, but as always, measure the outer diameter of the seat mast tubing of your frame or the inner diameter of your existing seat clamp).
Material: Aluminum alloy
The “MX” is stamped – the “Dia-Compe 25.4” on the top edge is laser engraved.
Please note, some frames have particularly thin tubing and are not ideal for this clamp – if the seat mast tube of your frame measures even slightly less than 1″ (25.4mm), you may have to shim this clamp to make it work.
IMPORTANT: There is no substitute for MEASURING your bike before ordering. While there are some rule of thumb standard for bikes from a specific era, there are no absolutes. Save yourself time and money and MEASURE first, order once.
